X Crop has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Nitter, the open-source project behind XCancel. The project has now suspended the service while it looks into its legal options.

The company claims it has evidence that Nitter scraped information from X and accessed X accounts and session tokens in ways that violated its rules. X's lawyers argue that these actions violate various state and federal laws.

so basically every ai model and company is violating state and federal law then. why hasn't the corrupt courts shut down Xitter's ai slop machine then?

Sad. I used xcancel to follow some interesting accounts with RSS feeds. For me, this is the only way to consume Twitter.

Does anyone know of an alternative that would export RSS/Atom feeds to Twitter/X.com?
