Xiaomi's Xring O3 demolishes the competition in early performance tests

Xiaomi has officially revealed its second-generation flagship chipset, Xring O3. While the new SoC is built on a 3nm TSMC node, official benchmark results show it blowing past every other mobile chipset on the market, with third-party performance numbers proving similarly impressive.

Talking about the performance without the efficiency of a the chip that is supposed to be used in a portable device will give skewed impressions.

- It has 10 cores compared to 8 on 8 elite gen 5
- It's modem is not integrated like on the snapdragon chip, which we've seen how it causes the performance and efficiency to drop - tensor g5 to g6 focussed majorly on this.
