Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition for PS5 is scheduled to arrive on October 1, bundling the base game, Legends multiplayer, the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion and the roguelike-inspired Most Wanted mode. Players who purchase before September 30 will get a freebie.

The craze around this game has passed almost a year after its official release. Especially since according to the reviews, this game is less satisfying for players than the excellent Ghost of Tsushima on which it is based.

When I was on vacation in Japan in May 2026, the shelves of second-hand game stores were full, among other things with this title, but no one bought it, even at a very low price...

This game doesn't seem to attract much interest anymore, the craze has passed.

The only way for Sony to get a return on its financial investment in developing this game would be to release it very quickly on PC.

But while the port of this game on PC was completed in May 2026, the idiots at the head of marketing at Sony (whose understanding of the business market is limited to Japan) canceled the release of this title on PC ;-(

While Sony executives believe that their brand has great commercial value, for several decades this is less and less the case, at least in Europe.

For my part, even if I owned CD players, laptops, PC screens and televisions from the brand Sony until the early 2000s, since then I have never bought this brand... Other manufacturers such as Samsung have taken over, with cheaper offers and overall superior manufacturing quality and above all much better customer support.

And very sincerely, I have never bought a PS in my life and I do not think one day to buy one, nor offer one to a third party.
