I don't like that if it needs a specialised mainboard. The more special its needs, the less likely it will be adopted by the market.

Why not make 6-8 Xe3 versions, which work on every board and can be produced cheaper as well? That configuration should already be on par or surpass an AMD 8700G.

But naahw - 2 Xe3 cores (standard CPU) or 12 Xe3 cores (special CPU). Minimum or maximum. Only the extreme ends. This approach doesn't sound good to me ...

Intel's new 12Xe3P graphics consume a significant amount of power compared to AMD's RDNA 3.5.
And it looks like RDNA 4 will be much better and focused on AI-related calculations.
I'm waiting for AMD Medusa Point or Medusa Halo, which are due out in 2027.
