EU AI Act: creators get no grace period for labeling AI content

The transparency rules of the EU AI Act apply from today. If you publish deepfakes or AI-written text professionally or for money, you have to label it visibly, on YouTube as much as on your own blog. The grace period until December covers providers such as OpenAI and Google, not you.

What do you mean no grace period? The EU AI Act was passed two years ago. Any company impacted had ample time to prepare.
