Cory Barlog confirms new Kratos game is also in development

Cory Barlog confirmed that Santa Monica Studio is developing a new mainline God of War game featuring Kratos, with its story directly connected to the upcoming God of War: Laufey. Set for release on February 16, 2027, Laufey will expand the series' lore and lay the groundwork for Kratos' next adventure.
