PlayStation Store still blocks 62% of countries, as end of physical PS5 games approaches

Sony abandoning physical games has raised concerns about consumer rights. However, while some critics fear higher prices, other gamers won't have access to the PlayStation Store. Buyers in much of the world are unable to register PSN accounts without violating the terms of service.

Blocked in 120 countries because of  strict regulatory compliance like local tax laws, licensing agreements and data privacy regulations. So sony and the countries are equally to blame.
