Sony RX10 V launches Thursday, teaser reveals surprising upgrades

Sony has officially confirmed that a brand-new compact camera featuring a nearly 26x optical zoom will be released in a few days. A teaser video hints at a number of unexpected new features.

Keep wondering when/if something with a 1" or larger sensor will finally move to some of the 200mp or more sensors.  With pixel binning and some of what you can do to preserve the benefits of bigger lower resolution sensors on the most modern smartphone sensors...you'd think such sensors would eventually get put in normal camera bodies with better glass than a smartphone??  You'd think a body that likely can sell for good chunk of money over cell phone and only needs one sensor could actually get an even more innovative senor tech even.
