Lenovo has released a new 14-inch ThinkPad intentionally. Available with a choice of AMD Zen 5 processors, the ThinkPad E14 Gen 8 can also be configured with up to 32 GB of RAM, a 120 Hz display and two battery options.

32 GB RAM is hardly enough for the SOTA LLM Qwen3.6-35B-A3B at a Q4_K_XL quant (22.9 GB). 32 GB - 8 GB for the OS = 24 GB and 22.9 GB just barely fits and there's pretty much no room for any context at all.
