Funny question: Can these Ryzen "AI" 400 chips be actually literally the original Ryzen "AI" 300 unsold stock piles chips with a different laser-engraved name on top of them and a rename in BIOS and firmware [to Ryzen AI 400]?
PS: I say "AI", because Ryzen AI is very slow at only 55 TOPS tops as the AI performance is based on the iGPU's performance and its access to only 90 GB/s*.
For comparison, a 4060 desktop has 242 TOPS (nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/compare/).
* 89.6 GB/s = 5600 MT/s * 128-bit (2*64-bit, aka dual-channel) / 1000 / 8.
