The iPhone Ultra, or whatever it ends up being called, is expected to arrive alongside the iPhone 18 Pro phones, but there could be a small delay. A known leaker, however, is confident that there won't be one.

I still don't understand the point of foldable phones unless the whole idea is to sell more expensive devices for the tech maniacs and well-offs.

Functionally they don't improve anything, don't allow the user to do more, they're even clunkier and heavier for very debateable benefits.

Pointing that out automatically means I'm not the target audience, it's a toy for folks with money to spend rather than an once of common sense.

well first off you're just wrong about foldables. functionally, they quite literally offer a much larger screen area when unfolded. you know, the main function of FOLDables. and i'm guessing you've never even attempted to use a foldable or even test one in a tech store because they have a ton of multitasking and productivity features in software that aren't available in even the most expensive bar style flagships. And no, they aren't clunker or heavier. the z fold7 is as thin and lightweight as the S26 Ultra when folded  and when unfolded it's even more impressive.

I can see why you don't understand the point of foldables, it's because everything you believe about them is outdated information or flat out false. I recommend you watch videos and reviews about the latest foldables  so you don't embarass yourself again about a product segment you know nothing about.

You're still not explaining why more screen real-estate is useful or even needed thanks to foldable screens (yeah thanks I know what folding means), you're just rehashing that we have the technology to make this happen so it must be amazing.

And yes the folded device is thicker than current phones, not sure why you're trying to deny that.
