The first installment of [Tuesday Tweaks] covers Lossless Scaling, its vendor-neutral Frame Generation, and how it can be used to achieve higher framerates in games locked to 30 or 60 FPS, including emulators, fighting games, and etc. The actual Scaling functionality will also be briefly discussed.

You are mistaken about OLED having good motion clarity. OLED actually has the worst sample and hold blur due to its practically instantaneous response time.

You are correct about the pulsar displays, however.

Author here—gonna need a source on that one. OLED still has sample and hold blur but certainly not the worst of it. That instant response time is exactly what gives it better motion clarity vs everything but CRT or Pulsar.
