Windows 11 is finally getting an update that will actually benefit users, as the user interface responds much faster with Low Latency Mode and apps also start more quickly. A video now demonstrates the effects of this mode, while Microsoft wants to appease critics.

Microsoft VP Scott Hanselman defends Low Latency Mode and asserts that macOS and Linux also offer a comparable feature to ensure that the operating systems feel fast.

That sounds like "others do it, there's nothing wrong with our approach".

That's a trash way of deflecting a serious issue with Windows 11.

The fact that Windows 10 doesn't have that issue (heck, not even Windows XP) speaks volumes of the bad coding and OS architecture decisions that were taken.

Microsoft, produce less slop, please.
