With a 120 Hz 4K display, a 16-core processor, up to 64 GB of RAM and open source firmware, StarFighter is one of the most powerful Linux laptops on the market. More than three years after its announcement, the laptop is now finally available at short notice.

RAM/SSD crisis aside, there aren't many options for a well-equipped Libre/Coreboot laptop, unfortunately.

QuoteThe notebook is offered with numerous keyboard layouts.

On the linked page, found 8 keyboard languages, not sure I would call them different layouts.  Just 2 different keyboards with physical differences (U.S. ANSI vs U.K.+Europe ISO keyboard layouts).

But happy to see a right control key reachable by pinky finger, full-sized arrow keys, and dedicated home and end keys, in this 75% keyboard layout.

Just wish the delete key was on the corner, I use delete much more frequently than the power button.

It is visible literally in the article on the large attached screenshot: https://www.notebookcheck.net/fileadmin/Notebooks/News/_nc5/StarFighter3.jpeg

LPDDR5X for all combinations, and in 2026 everyone but babies is aware that LPDDR5X is exclusively soldered ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
