Nvidia has finally announced a new version of the GeForce RTX 5070. Equipped with 3 GB GDDR7 memory modules, the new laptop GPU bridges the gap between the existing RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti. XMG warns that the RTX 5070 12 GB will cost almost as much as existing RTX 5070 Ti options.

This is a surprising release given supply constraints. Unless of course nVidia intends to use this to justify raising prices on products higher in the stack.

Rather Nvidia always uses all excuses to further raise prices of all tiers...

Big lolz. Bless you for thinking so positively :'). RTX 4080 laptops from 3 years ago still cost 3000.

This is a company with massive contracts with Palantir and Oracle. That continue profit from the military industral complex on daily basis.

Give up on any hope of them caring about consumer affordability, when their stocks have all gone up from all the insider trading during this war.

Nvidia always offer more vram, they just make you pay a lot more for it (e.g. 90 class consumer series <-> RTX PRO series). So be careful what you wish for, with them..
