Square Enix announces new expansion, Evangelion tie-in for Final Fantasy XIV

The next expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, named Evercold, will release in January 2027. The expansion appears to take place in a world frozen over and will feature new jobs, news cities, new monsters, and an increase in the game's level cap.
