BlaBlaBla

What's the point of info about X9s Pro here? Just so we can be salty about all those compact flagships not being released globally? We either get phones with lower storage (no compacts with >512GB) and smaller battery, or not get them at all - X9s Pro is China olny, the rest get the X9s with larger screen...

There's no need for "people" to stop buying "shitty" phones. Many chinese brands have already done it without waiting for that to happen.

The Chinese brands need to do a better job of marketing especially in new growth markets

They likely don't bother putting much effort into it because they know their products they will be slapped with massive tariffs & import taxes in Western markets, regardless. Also, having a no or small marketing presence is one way to keep prices down.

Apple and Samsung could likely make their devices cheaper for consumers if they just shut down their entire marketing departments.

Another difficulty is the lack of relationships for them with domestic carriers or mobile telecom providers. And when you've govts pretty much saying don't work with Chinese hardware as it's a "national security" risk, it doesn't help..
