Qualcomm is expected to launch two new Snapdragon 8 Elite processors this year. Now, a popular leaker has provided more details of the less-powerful variant which is expected to launch as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.

Also it's going to throttle to 50% of its performance in most phones it's used. So all this short term performance increase is only for benchmarks and marketing.

Memory width?
I hope someone at notebookcheck realizes that 256bit RAM is double the usual speed. Which opens up whole new capabilities. Yet they're hung up on 10% increases.
