Here are all the high-res images from NASA's Artemis II lunar flyby mission

Nikon has just released a complete high-res image library of all the images taken during the recently concluded Artemis II lunar flyby mission. Most of these were taken on a tried-and-tested Nikon D5 system - you can now officially download all those images.

As an aside, it's decidedly less obvious that the 30-year-old Nikkor 35mm f/2 AF-D lens the crew has up in space was a better option than the Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.4G or 35mm f/1.8G ED lenses

Since astronauts aren't camera experts, I hope they [=basically everyone who needed to know which lens to use] all knew it was the better lens.
