Lenovo hat endlich mit dem Verkauf seines ersten Laptops mit Snapdragon X2 Elite begonnen. Das neue Modell ist weltweit erhältlich und kombiniert bis zu 32 GB LPDDR5X-9523-RAM mit einem 70-Wh-Akku, der eine Laufzeit von über 24 Stunden ermöglichen soll. In Nordamerika ist das Yoga Slim 7x 14Q8Y11 ist derzeit allerdings deutlich teurer als in anderen Regionen.

I have the current gen version of the Lenovo 7X with the snapdragon x elite chip (78-100). Great laptop and great performance but they still have not rolled out simple battery management features to stop charging when it's at 100% and enable docked mode with external monitor. The laptop is unusable because it won't stop charging despite being at 100% battery and the CPU fans are on very high despite zero CPU or hardware usage. Because of the lack of these features this laptop is really only for light/casual use.

Many of us have reached out to Lenovo/Qualcomm multiple times over the past year since this laptop has launched but there are no plans to fix this issue. You buy the laptop for its excellent battery life but the lack of hardware and software support ends up killing the battery life much faster vs just sticking with an Intel/AMD CPU based laptop to begin with.
