After almost seven years since the first announcement, Crimson Desert released just over a week ago and gamers have taken a liking to it. In an interview with a Korean publication, Pearl Abyss has shared information about the future of the game.

When are Devs gonna learn, Graphics, Gameplay is not everything. It should be paired with a good narrative as well. So many examples, RDR2, Witcher 3, CP2077. I mean if you gonna make a game with characters having Cardboard personalities. Then better make it an online MMORPG, atleast the person can have fun with a friend (take dune awakening as an example). IMO for me( i dont speak for anyone else) a good narrative and loveable characters are absolutely necessary if you are gonna make a singleplayer open world.
