Your article and tests are quite reasonable and logical.
But if you take MBP 14 m5pro 18/20, will it really be the same as with MaX processors and it will also lose performance quickly in a 14-inch case

Even the base M5 chip just rules overall, there's nothing even remotely competitive when it comes to efficiency (and the absolute perf is top notch as well).

Single core:
M5 - 13.1 Points per Watt
Intel's best (most efficient) - 5.68 Points per Watt

Multi core:
M5 - 34.9 Points per Watt
Intel's best (most efficient) - 19.1 Points per Watt

just a pathetic showing by Intel/AMD, their best offering is basically half as efficient at best.
