OmegaLinux, die ,,Goodbye Lubuntu/Ubuntu"-Version, nutzt Arch Linux als Basis, behält aber den LXDE-Desktop für Low-End-Hardware bei. Dank der neuen Basis profitieren Nutzer von schnelleren Updates und einem optimierten System, müssen sich jedoch an den technischeren Ansatz anpassen.
