Drunk driver who tried to trick Level 2 system to behave like unsupervised FSD gets prison sentence

A drink driving sentence has been issued in one of the first cases that punishes tricking an autonomous driving system into thinking there is a person behind the wheel. The system usually nags the driver to pay attention.

To be clear this was a Chinese system not FSD. FSD uses a camera to monitor the driver not steering wheel input. If you were to fall asleep in a Tesla it will pull over, turn on the hazards.
