With the Geekom A7 Max, the manufacturer is sending a powerful mini PC with AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS and Radeon 780M into the race. DDR5 RAM, a fast PCIe SSD, and numerous connections sound promising. But can the compact system deliver this performance over the long term - and how does it perform in terms of cooling, noise, and efficiency in everyday use?

The fact that the Geekom A7 Max is equipped with only one RAM module is clearly noticeable in the results. The overall performance is therefore noticeably lower and also negatively affects the subjective performance perception in everyday use.

One hopes GEEKOM would at least state this clearly on their shop ordering page (fixed footer/header), so that people know this when buying it.
