2026 will not only be a challenge for Samsung. The Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra will also have to face an extremely dynamic 1-inch sensor and the first optical 200MP zoom camera in a phone, a combination that convinces in early camera tests and comparison shots. Initial hands-on reports also illustrate the advantages of the Leica Leitzphone Special Edition for ambitious photographers.

Yeah, and neither do the Chinese.
Try having a business there , or indeed just exporting anything, and you'll see exactly what jerrymandering and f*ckery is.
I don't see why, we in the West, should just bend over and Royally take the asymmetry, with no recourse for them.
So, why it's nice to have the latest Chinese gadgets(I'm an Oppo Find X9 Pro UK user), it's far better to address this issue, than not.

Unfortunately, Americans don't know what a free market is

Seriously?  Try and open a business in China.  You're gonna be forced to partner with a local Chinese company who will then transfer your intellectual property.  Where have you been the last 30 years?  China is nowhere close to a free market.  Try using Google in China, see how free it really is there.
