ESA and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) are set to launch the Smile (Solar Wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer) mission. It is a mission that will provide a global picture of the interaction between the Sun and the Earth — the first mission to ever do so.
