Not everyone is siding with Pocketpair during Nintendo's Palworld lawsuit. Many critics question the claims of patent infringement, but a former Capcom developer has a different opinion. Yoshiki Okamoto implores gamers not to support Pocketpair, even before the court issues its final ruling.

He can be wrong, just like any one that supports patenting gameplay mechanics. After all, Nintendo stole every mechanic from the dragon warrior series. Let's stop letting corporate greed ruin games and just make a better product with the billions upon billions of dollars the company has. Anticonsumerism is and will aLways be BAD!

At this point, I am boycotting all Nintendo products. More people should be. Pokémon is very derivative, including monster designs and the element matchup system stolen from Sony's Dragon Quest, so what right does Nintendo have to attempt to stifle a smaller developer for lesser offenses? If Nintendo had actually LISTENED to its fan base and released the title we all wanted, with their enormous resources, they wouldn't be threatened by Pocketpair's Palworld. Instead, they are now upset that Pocketpair gave us the game we wanted. It's pathetic and speaks volumes of the quality of Nintendo's people. I will NOT be playing their games or buying their hardware.
