YouTube's controversial video player redesign is popping up again, and honestly, it doesn't look half bad

YouTube is rolling out another test of its redesigned web video player, five months after its first attempt drew backlash. The updated look is cleaner and more transparent, with the volume slider back to its original position. However, the latest iteration does away with the skip and miniplayer buttons.

They're trying to make one shitty video player on all platforms. Even though mobile already has the youtube app. On desktop its fucking garbage. All the videos have their bottoms cut off. Theater mode has been removed. Because you can no longer scroll. Instead of seeing comments, chat while streaming and video info including important information and links, they've hidden all of it. Instead you must now click on a comments button which brings up comments on the right side making the video player smaller. RUINING THEATER MODE.
