With the ExpertBook B5, Asus offers a large 16-inch business computer with a metal casing, the latest Arrow Lake processor, extensive features and a matte 144 Hz panel. However, the battery life is a weak point.

Poor design. Laptop is very hot, keyboard, touchpad too, even idle doing nothing, just displaying windows desktop. Air from the fan flows onto the screen, and it gets hot at the bottom. The casing is too thin, maybe good for an ultrabook but not for a laptop with such a processor (in my case ultra 7 255h).
Touchpad is too big and strange wobble on the left side when just touched.
When running hardware tests from the BIOS, the tests would freeze and the computer would have to be restarted.
Repeated errors in the BIOS logs "cpu fan failed".
The BIOS has too many graphical bells and whistles. Hard to find simple option to change time in BIOS.
The screws on the back of the case are very small and difficult to remove. While unscrewing, one broke, the thread stripping from underneath.
The battery connector is not properly attached to the motherboard. It broke off when the battery was disconnected.
This resulted in the battery not working anymore and the BIOS was always resetting after the power was turned off.
I do not recommend this laptop if you plan to expand it or work intensively on it.
