Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 expected to disappoint against many foldable flagships with surprising missed opportunity

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 should become official in just over a week's time. Surprisingly, Samsung is now slated to drop behind Google and Vivo when it comes to dust and water resistance.

Highly doubt the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be IP68. Obviously the higher the better but I'm not bent out of shape with the IP48 as I take care of my phones. The only thing holding me back from buying the Fold 7 is the tiny battery and think they definitely should have went with a silicon carbon higher density battery. Also the 25w charging is lackluster in 2025 for a flagship. I'll be keeping my S24 Ultra until Samsung brings out a phone with substantial upgrades and battery/charging tech. We'll see what the S26 Ultra looks like and if it's not impressive I'll wait for the Fold 8 Ultra.
