Ever since Intel's Lunar Lake emerged as an attractive alternative to the Snapdragon X Elite – offering similar battery life without the occasional compatibility issues – Qualcomm has been taking jabs at Intel in several lighthearted ads, going more than slightly overboard in the process.

Pretty misleading on Qualcomm's behalf.

Having used both, Lunar Lake is without a doubt the better platform in terms of overall user experience and support. I'd argue Lunar Lake is the best thing Intel has created in the last few years - it's a great balance of performance, battery life, and iGPU performance.

From personal experience, Lunar Lake loses little to no performance when unplugged from the wall - at least not in my Lenovo X9 Aura 15" - possibly due to the 80Wh battery/power delivery capability of a bigger battery than some.of the 13/14" models.

The Qualcomm chips are very impressive, but I'd only recommend them if you're a developer/coder or willing to persist with the early-adopter snags. Or just a mum/pop who's using it solely for web browsing; word documents etc. Also, the iGPU isn't quite up to par with Lunar Lake in terms of performance or support... so if you're wanting casual gaming or things like CAD work, forget about it.
