Apple's first foldable device seems to be getting better already, even though mass production is said to be in the second half of 2026. It is expected to be the first touchscreen device running macOS.

We'll believe it when we see and measure it, displays are the major drain on batteries and it would be immensely surprising Apple found the magical fix to that.

Also, why not use these so-called more efficient displays on normal iPhones to begin with?
