GeForce RTX 5070 benchmark result sees it matching the wrong RTX 4090

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card has quietly slotted into PassMark's G3D Mark chart for high-end video cards. The RTX 5070 has taken up an unassuming spot above the RTX 4070 and almost on the same level as an RTX 4090. Unfortunately, the latter is the Laptop GPU variant, with the desktop RTX 4090 way beyond the performance level of the new Blackwell board.
