Green Navy's Prometeo, first appearing in a June 7 press release, is a first-in-Europe catamaran powered by electro-hydrogen propulsion. This vessel marks a key step towards decarbonizing maritime transport. By combining electric propulsion with hydrogen fuel cells, Prometeo offers zero-emission, silent, and efficient operation. The catamaran is designed for both passenger and cargo transportation and is expected to be commercially available in spring 2025.
