Thunderbolt Share is intended to show why Thunderbolt 4 and 5 still have advantages over USB 4, because in future it will be possible to connect two computers directly to each other via a Thunderbolt cable in order to transfer data, share the display or use accessories with two computers.

This is all nonsense. Within 1m, which is limited to any 40Gbps version, it is easier to use a 60GHz channel in the near field with a weak signal, but which will provide p2p exchange at speeds of 10Gbps over the radio channel. In practice, no one will bother with short and extremely unreliable TB3-5 cables at 40Gbps. This would make sense optically at a distance of up to 50-100m, but at 1m no one needs it. It is enough to buy an active regular cable for 5Gbps via USB-a.
