Is Pay for Performance SEO Sacrificing Long-Term Growth for Short-Term Results?

Hey everyone,

I've been looking into different SEO strategies for my business, and pay for performance SEO seems to be gaining popularity. However, I'm concerned about its emphasis on short-term results rather than long-term growth.

From what I understand, SEO is all about building a solid foundation for sustainable growth, requiring consistent efforts and strategic planning. But with pay-for-performance SEO, it seems like there's a risk of prioritizing quick wins over comprehensive strategies that can enhance a website's authority and relevance in the long run.

While this approach might lead to a temporary boost in rankings, I'm worried it could ultimately hurt my business's online presence if it fails to deliver lasting results. Has anyone experienced this issue with pay-for-performance SEO? How do you balance short-term gains with long-term strategy in your SEO efforts?

I'd appreciate any insights or advice on navigating this dilemma. Thanks!
