Sony's alleged quest to make wireless earbuds that match the PlayStation 5 (PS5) may have reached a pivotal stage, which would be their approval for sale by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The US regulator has also given their "USB Transceiver" (no prizes for guessing why that is a thing) a pass for launch alongside them.
