Whenever the topic of electric vehicles comes up, fledgling automotive brand Tesla is bound to make an appearance. The company has made a name for itself in the last decade or so by delivering practical electric vehicles that many thought impossible. As Tesla grew, though, it made some errors that could easily have spelled disaster for any other car maker.

You seriously reposted Keef's nonsense? Has notebookcheck turned into a tabloid?

Keef is a conspiracy theorist who claims that spacex landings are fake and NASA never went to space

The whole wompy wheel issue or so he claims comes from him looking at pictures in scrapyards, then filing fake NHTSA reports on those people "behalves" without even asking the owners what actually happened.

Ever since he found some fraud guy in Australia making fake solar tech, he's been looking around for his 5 minutes of fame

Fully agree with the comment below, what a weird hit piece. Probably just fishing for comments/traction

Tesla vehicles demonstrably had issues such as steering wheels detaching. The yoke was a bad idea. Etc. These are not controversial.

How can anyone call that cheesy tablet glued onto the console futuristic? Have they seen BMW's AR glasses, or HUDs overlayed on a windshield? Or wait a year when OLED can be shaped over the console. A fake marble console with a tablet, an IPS one at that which looks terrible when the interior is dark, is a hack, and the market has rejected screen interfaces in favour of physical controls. But the Musk enthusiasts will reject logic for passion.

The controversy isn't in the steering wheel detaching, the controversy is in using keef as a source for a suspension issue when he went around the internet scrapyard sites, took their vin numbers and posted fake NHTSA reports without even contacting the original owners to find out what happened.

There are plenty of issues to report on without giving conspiracy theorists who commit fraud and think we never went to space their 5 minutes of fame.
