The smooth-running Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14 AMD offers all the important core aspects of an office laptop — a sufficiently bright IPS display, high CPU power, really good input devices, and expandable working and mass storage — for a low price of under €500. In this review, we test whether there are any real drawbacks as well.

We tested the 15 inch aspire 5, which has way crappier keyboard and way dimmer screen (229 nits vs 313 nits), also performance is much lower since there is no AMD versoin of the 14 inch aspire 5 while compareable intel versions with core i5 are much more expensive. In germany the ideapad 3 with ryzen 5300u is already disounted again, to just 329 Euro. It's discounted all the time basically.

Well, 329 euros is a good deal for this model, but not 550. With 550 - only if there is R5 5625U and no less.

Our models with 5625U cost 600 euros.
Acer Aspire A515-57 2022 c 1235U cost about the same...

Actually, this is all I wanted to say about this model with a price of 550 in the description - at this price, no one will buy it with a ridiculously outdated Zen2 for 3 generations
