The AMD Raphael Zen 4 Ryzen 9 7950X and Ryzen 7 7700X come with the promise of significant performance and efficiency upgrades over Zen 3. The new processors vie with Intel's latest Raptor Lake offerings for the performance and gaming crown, and succeed for the most part. The new Eco mode, wherein a 65 W Ryzen 7 7950X can outpace a stock Alder Lake Core i9-12900K, is particularly interesting, but users will have to factor in the initial investment that goes into the AM5 platform.

Gonna have to nail your deeply constructive message to a cathedral there since they wont be able to see this either without power...

It really goes to show how modern chips are so heavily overclocked from the factory. That extra 100 MHz on 7700x costed over 20 degrees.
