Vivo's announcement that its "imaging strategy conference" for 2022 is imminent has led to speculation that the OEM will showcase new specs or features that could manifest in the successors to its "camera-centric" X80 smartphones. The upcoming Android devices are, for example, projected to feature a new in-house chipset that could control a 1-inch sensor in an X90-series flagship.
