Don't want a Chromebook? This ARM-based Windows 11 alternative may be a more versatile option without needing to break the bank. The low 4 GB RAM and 64 GB SSD are sufficient for cloud-based workloads and typical web browsing.

As usual, when Allen Ngo fires up the hype machine, he forgets to tell us anything we NEED to know, such as
1. Does the display have PWM?
2. Is the display matte or glossy?
3. Can this device run a grown-up OS like Linux, or is it locked to infantile Windows or ChromeOS?
4. Can the RAM be expanded?
Etc.

The display has a TN panel, it's shitty. No need for further evaluation when it's that shitty.

It's not x86 based, so you're going to get Windows for ARM, not even full Windows. Linux being grown up and all others being infantile is a childish fanboy argument. But Windows for ARM has a lot of compatibility issues. Even M1 mac can handle windows apps much better that it with parallels. So, technically he covered this as well.

It's clearly stated that it has an LPDDR4X ram soldered to it. So why are you asking about expandable ram?

You should at least read before you criticize something.
But yes it's a waste of an article that should be titled 'Even after hefty discounts, this s*** is no compelling option'.
