A Chinese mobile device components manufacturer has let slip that it has secured a contract to mass-produce the hinge for a new foldable smartphone or phablet to debut in 2022. This revelation has sparked rumors that the order in question is for Huawei, and accordingly means the OEM definitely intends to produce a successor for the Mate X2 next year.
