The new FL6 SSDs feature the PCIe 4.0 NVMe 1.4 interface and combine the BiCS 3D NAND memory with the XL-FLASH memory to provide a hybrid solution that bridges the gap between DRAM and TLC-based TLC. Kioxia claims that FL6 is faster and more affordable than Intel's enterprise Optane SSDs, but does not actually provide any figures or prices.
