The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop, which does not offer gimmicks like comprehensive illumination, but it focuses on the core components. In addition to the GeForce RTX 3060 and a modern AMD Ryzen 5000 processor you also get a fast 165 Hz display.

An owner of 82JU006DUS here. Mostly it is correctly described. Though fans are not such big trouble as Asus has. Have turned off hybrid mode and switched to discrete graphics, if its not a high demand game, fans cause no disturbing. Also, price you mentioned is too high. It's about 1250€ for 82JU006DUS in Europe.

I don't understand this need, i have the Lenovo 5 17 and have 3 modes with Fn+Q toggle.   Color Feedback in Power button
blue: APU
white: hybrid
red: Nvidia.

Am i mistaken or missing something?

I have both RTX 3050 (950 USD) & RTX 3060 (1250 USD) models, confirm graphics switching is a pain in the a**. I also wish Vantage come with Fan adjustment...
For this price, this laptop is a steal. Do not compare it against Alienware m15 lol, it's Dell G15 is the rival

I bought a 17" version. The display specs says free sync. The 15" (this review) has both G-sync and free sync. How does the free sync work on a Nvidia card? Where can I enable it? I spent a few hours on trying to figure it out including contacting Lenovo technical support. It is a highlighted key feature on the website and specs sheet, but nobody knows how to enable it.....Need help! Thank you!!

You need to disable Hybrid Mode I think. Because G-Sync doesn't work if Optimus is on.

In hybrid mode the panel is connected to the AMD iGPU (the Vega cores inside the CPU) and therefore uses Freesync, which is the only adaptive refresh technology compatible with AMD GPUs. Under heavy loads, images are still generated by the 3060, but are transferred to the iGPU via the pci-express bus.
In discrete mode the panel bypasses the iGPU connects directly to the 3060 and uses G-Sync.
