The Philips Momentum 559M1RYVL is the follow-up to last year's Momentum 558M1RY, which already included plenty of features. However, the Momentum 559M1RYVL takes things further with a 144 Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C Power Delivery. All the good features of last year's model remain too, including 1,200 nit peak brightness, AMD FreeSync, NVIDIA G-Sync and Philips Ambiglow.

The one important thing wasn't mentioned in the article:
This is a VA panel.

Hard Pass. LG CX48 OLED is a much better deal here.

I'm simply sorry to say this, but a 55" screen is no longer a monitor. Either is a 48" for that matter. Can we just stick to anything over 32" being an HDTV?

Well there used to be a thing called BFD - Big Format Displays, as in over 40" fast gaming TV-sized panels. But that has faded away, since those came very late to the market with high prices and insuficient performance.

Its not really a better deal when you consider OLED tvs are more susceptible to burn in(websites like rtings have proof of this) and that the CX doesn't come with a soundbar which would add about 300-500 usd to your purchase(depending on quality). The phillips also gives you the dual functionality of being a monitor as well, that CX wont last long as a PC monitor because of that burn in feature that LG fanboys like to sweep under the rug.
