From the outside, the ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 is immediately recognizable as a classic ThinkPad. However, a Tiger Lake CPU and the Nvidia Quadro T500 meet the demands of a mobile workstation on the inside. Our review will reveal how successful that is.

IMO such high bottom temperature under load should also be listed in cons.
You don't want this machine on your lap for any extended period of time, limiting the use scenarios.

With those temperatures, you are better off getting a desktop or a proper gaming/workstation laptop instead.

Great Review! Could you look up the panel manufacturer part number for the 4K screen in hwinfo? I'm trying to find the screen from the T14 / P14s gen 2 and can only find Lenovo's FRU for it, which isn't helpful

The T14s gen 2 (2021) is virtually identical to the T480s (2018), except for the soldered wifi card (boo intel). The only thing I'm interested in is the 4K 500 nit display. Does anyone know the part number for it? I'd like to buy and upgrade from my QHD screen (the 40-pin eDP cable supports both QHD and UHD)

Great portable notebook, but the temperatures of GPU/CPU is really high, temperature fan is really under wat the notebook need, everyday i use cad and 1-2 tab on browser, i get blue screen, I have to use only CAD opened, nothing else.
