The new Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 with the Ryzen 5 5500U processor, NVMe SSD storage, a backlit keyboard, and optional stylus input could be the ideal everyday companion. The convertible presents itself in the test as a compact, lightweight, and yet powerful device.

Idle power still looking awful. Long idle 67% worse than 11th gen and some rare Zen 2's. Come to think of it, a little less liberalism on the part of ErP folks, and Lenovo would be in BIG trouble.

BTW:
Literally the ONLY scenario where "Core i7-1165G7 processor ... is easily outperformed [by 5500U]" is 3D rendering, namely in these 3 programs: Cinebench R15, Cinebench R20, and Blender.
Everywhere else, be it HTML DOM, PDF's, zlib web assets (de)compression, or SHA cryptography, not even 50% more cores are enough to bridge the gap. And collectively, that's about 99.9% of computer workloads, and 100% of web browser perf.

What a perfectly shitty way of ruining a halfway decent AMD laptop, use the crappiest screen you can find. :(

Do NOT buy this laptop!!!
To repair the screen cost $700 !!!
The laptop itself costs $850!

The screen repair is 80% of the Laptop Price - WTF!!!!!!

Lenovo is RIPING US OFF !
