Im Zuge der zunehmenden Akzeptanz von Fernunterricht und Homeschooling im Corona-Jahr 2020 stieg die Nachfrage nach Chromebooks auf ein Rekordhoch. Das gewaltige Absatzplus bei Chromebooks sorgte auch bei den Betriebssystemen für eine überraschende Wende: Microsoft Windows verlor massiv Marktanteile.
